Tell us something about yourself	After graduation because the satisfaction, the opportunity and the leadership role offered is unmatched.
How did you prepare for the interview?	The focus was on to prepare everything that can be asked from information given in DAF. other than that revised basics of my graduation that I am supposed to be knowing and current affairs specially which touches my graduation stream an optional subject.
How were mock interviews similar/different than your real UPSC interview? Did you attend any? Do you feel they are necessary?	mocks are very helpful to me, I took them to build up confidence and correct any blatant mistake which I can commit. So mocks do help as we should use them to better ourself for the DAY.
Where did you stay for the interview?	HOTEL. I recommend anyone travelling from outside to reach delhi before the interview day so that you have less to worry about.
What did you wear for the interview? What was your tryst with masks and corona protocol?	I wore a formal Blue suit. face shield and mask were also provided at UPSC and we have to give interview while wearing a mask so practice of speaking with a mask on specially if you wear specs as the fogging of glasses break your concentration in the interview.
Was your interview on the expected lines of what you had prepared or unexpected?	I expected more form my DAF but most of the question were opinion seeking. Although there question were fine nothing as such that I have not expected at all.
Was it a stress interview, did they ask any uncomfortable questions? If yes, how did you handle those?	NO, the board members were very being very Nice and I do not feel any discomfort.
Any additional details about technicalities like documentation or procedure you would like to share.	just read the instruction and checklist provided by upsc and you will be fine. Even if you miss something they give you time to furnish the required document. so no need to panic about that.
Please share your medical checkup/ post interview experience?	just reach the medical board of the hospital assigned and the person there will guide you to the rest of procedure and yes get your ear wax clean as it may cause you to revisit the medical board.
Any message to candidates with profile insecurity/under-confidence?	I don't think they judge on that you will be judged solely on what you say to the board and how you perform in those 30-35 minutes. just have a logical reason for any question that can be asked from your profile like what you have been doing for 3-4 years if you are only preparing for the exam and you will be good. Enter the room as you see yourself as an IAS/IPS and this will be reflected to them as well if you are well prepared. ALL the BEST.
