EPFO SSA Social Security Assistant Full Course 2023 by Yatharth IAS

Dates for Filling Online Form - 27th March, 2023 to 26th April, 2023

Completely Computer Based Test in 2 stages. No Interview.

Stage- I : Computer Based Examination (Phase-I)

Stage II : Computer Typing Test (Phase-II) (Computer Data Entry Test) - (qualifying in nature. Marks will not be counted for merit ranking)

Eligibility: Must possess the Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university as on the closing date for online registration of application i.e. 26th April (Result must have been declared. Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed Essential qualification SHOULD NOT APPLY)

Typing speed: A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer. (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depression per Hour (KDPH) / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word for Data Entry Work. Time allowed - ten minutes.)

Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years (for unreserved category), as on the closing date for online registration of application i.e. 26th April. Age relaxations for various categories are applicable as usual.

Scheme of Examination - Pattern & official Syllabus

Phase 1 - Objective Type MCQs based - 150 Questions & 150 Minutes ( ie 2 hours 30 mins)

Each question shall have 4 marks each. Total 600 Marks.

For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one fourth of the mark assigned to that question (ie 1 Marks deducted for wrong answer while 4 marks for correct answer)

How many will qualify for Phase 2?

The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase-I. (i.e. total 26740 will qualify this prelims or stage 1 and be eligible to appear for phase 2 ie computer/typing test).

Phase 2/Computer Skill Test will be qualifying in nature. Marks obtained will not be reckoned for merit ranking.
