Course Description

One of the deciding factors of whether you will be in the final list or not is how you utilize your time between the UPSC CSE Prelims and the Mains exam. According to the previous year’s toppers, intensive writing practice is the only way to make sure that your name reflects in the final list.

Yatharth IAS has come up with the Mains Test Series 2021 for Law Optional Subject. The Test series serves the purpose of:

Our focus area :

• Context: Understanding the demand and context of the question, focusing on ‘Key words’ & ‘Tail words’ in the question like Critically examine, Discuss, Analyze etc
• Content: Context/Demand specific content and substantiation through examples, facts, data, arguments.
• Structure: Organising the content in accordance with the different parts of the question in order to maintain required connectivity and flow in the answer. Focus on introduction and conclusion part.
• Competence: Time bound completion of paper without skipping a single question by managing the time in the examination hall.

Evaluation

The evaluation process consists of two rounds. First round compromises the evaluation by previous year toppers and their expert opinion. In the second round the expert team of Yatharth IAS will provide their exam relevant and valuable feedback in a one to one session. While evaluating we will see your basic understanding of exam relevant topics, your ability to analyze the demand of the question, your approach for the answers and a balanced point of view. Emphasis will be given on the fact that the content and structure of the answer is more important than its length.

Model answers will be provided and uploaded on the website for the benefit of the students.

NOTE: Exhaustive one to one discussion and feedback sessions will be organized with a flexible schedule as per your convenience after each test.
